Title: Director of Accounting Location: Houston, Texas Type: Direct Hire Salary: $160,000 Summary: The Director of Accounting provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Accounting teams responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of operating properties. This role has overall responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely accounting for real estate acquisitions and dispositions, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, and establishing and maintaining effective accounting policies, procedures, and controls. The Director will serve as a key financial leader in driving process transformation, operational efficiencies, and change management initiatives across the organization, partnering with stakeholders to strengthen processes and support broader business objectives. Duties: * Identify topics, research accounting standards, and prepare technical memos to support new or changes to existing accounting policies and procedures.
