POSITION SUMMARY The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for skills encompassing resident care and related tasks under the direction of an Administrator, Registered Nurse, and/or a Licensed Vocational Nurse. The Personal Care Assistant works closely with residents to assist in daily needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Taking Vital Signs and reporting changes to appropriate persons * Assist residents with basic healthcare needs. * Assist with the administration of Self\-Administered medications and complete documentation. * Documenting and reporting pertinent observations and report changes in health status * Identification and reporting of Special Incidents * Maintaining quality by following policies and procedures * Maintaining personal health and sanitation standards * Assisting with or instituting emergency measures for sudden adverse events * Responsible for light cleaning, cooking, and laundry * Engage residents in variation leisure activities * Driving vehicle to either doctor appointments and/or errands assigned by Administrator * Performing other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (K...
