**The Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant** is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting month\-end and year\-end closing activities, and assisting with tax and investor reporting. This role works closely with management, the Accounts Payable team, external CPAs, and investors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. **Experience in Real Estate or Real Estate investment accounting will be preferable.** **Key Responsibilities Accounting \& Financial Reporting:** * Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all assigned entities. * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. * Prepare and review Balance Sheets and Profit \& Loss Statements for all entities. * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing procedures. **Investor Accounting** * Process annual investor return entries. * Prepare investor distribution checks and supporting documentation. * Maintain accurate investor records and schedules. * Assist management with investor reporting requests. **Tax \& Compliance Support** * Prepare and file annual 1099 forms for vendors across all entities. * Gather and organize financial information require...
