About this Job: **Unit Highlights** Nurses on Postpartum Unit 5D/5F are committed to providing family\-centered care to every family. To promote healthy birth outcomes, we manage the high\-risk antenatal population in conjunction with the “Special Mom, Special Baby” Program. In this program we see a wide variety of diagnoses that include but not limited to congenital anomalies of mother and/or baby, premature rupture of membranes, diabetic management, hypertension etc. Our achievement of Baby Friendly Designation demonstrates our commitment to supporting our community with initiation, promotion, and suitability along their breastfeeding journey. Additionally, the interdisciplinary healthcare team collaborates to ensure rooming\-in, skin to skin, and breastfeeding exclusivity is accomplished.
