**Job Description:** The Surgery Scheduler manages the complex logistics of booking surgeries, acting as a central coordinator between providers and provider office teams, patients, hospital departments and facility sub\-specialties to ensure that ORs, equipment, and staff are ready. This role handles everything from initial requests to post\-op details and resolves last\-minute conflicts to maintain smooth surgical flow. The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients at Intermountain Healthcare hospitals, ensuring that processes and procedures in EPIC are followed. This role is also responsible for providing accurate information, including demographic, clinical, procedural, and prep details. This position enhances the provider’s experience by offering a single point of contact for referring offices.
