**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer, Platform, Cloud Engineering and DevOps to serve as the senior technical leader responsible for the strategy, architecture, and evolution of enterprise cloud platforms, infrastructure SRE, Kubernetes/OpenShift, observability, and platform reliability. This role drives a reliability\-first and automation\-first approach, improving resiliency, scalability, operational excellence, and engineering efficiency through standardized platforms, self\-service capabilities, and cloud\-native engineering practices. Working closely with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and security partners, the Principal Engineer influences enterprise technology strategy, platform modernization, and reliability initiatives while establishing engineering standards for cloud infrastructure, platform security, and container platforms.
