Job description The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees and organizing and monitoring workflow to ensure the production of quality products while maintaining plant efficiencies. The Production Supervisor will focus on the safety and productivity of the team and the quality of the products manufactured. Responsible for daily production goals Accomplishes production goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures Provides production information on performance and progress; answer questions and responds to requests for information Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources in compliance with established policies and procedures Trains, develops, and provides direction to production employees Enforces compliance with safety guidelines and company standards Supervises union employees and maintains working relationship by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement while managing expectations of behavior Wo...
