EHS \& Regulatory Compliance Officer Location: Sacramento metro (on\-site; some route/facility travel) Reports to: Operations Manager Type: Full\-time Compensation: $77,000–$125,000 base, DOE \| bonus tied to clean audits and R2 award \| benefits Viking Shred is a Northern California on\-site shredding and secure destruction company. We need one accountable owner for occupational health, environmental compliance, and the certifications that keep us legal and competitive: Cal/OSHA, DTSC/CUPA/CERS, EPA, CalARP (if applicable), NAID AAA, and R2\. The job This is a working compliance role, not a policy\-only desk. You will write the program, train drivers and plant staff, walk the floor, sit inspections, and drive R2 certification from gap assessment through Stage 2 audit. * Own the Injury and Illness Prevention Program, Cal/OSHA compliance, machine guarding/LOTO, hearing and dust controls, forklift and driver safety, incident investigation, and OSHA 300 logs. * Own hazardous waste and environmental compliance: DTSC, CUPA/CERS, EPA ID, manifests, accumulation, universal/e\-waste, stormwater/air if triggered, and CalARP if we meet threshold quantities. * Maintain and improve NAID AAA: e...
