Primary care office in Little Elm is looking for FULL TIME CERTIFIED medical assistant with adult patient experience willing to work Mon\-Fri Position is for experienced Medical assistant comfortable doing front/back office /administrative duties. Practice uses e\-Clinical Works EMR. EXPERIENCE with ECLINICAL EMR IS Preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Greet and assist patients entering the office. * Maintain Office Inventory * Understand and communicate all current office protocols to clinic guests. * Schedule new and follow\-up patient appointments * Able to perform Insurance verification electronically and by phone. * Make referrals to other providers * Obtain prior authorizations * Check patients in and out smoothly including handling new patient paperwork and collecting copay's electronically. * Obtain vital signs and clinical information, and enter information into EMR. * Experience with EMR \-Clinical Works, Microsoft word and excel is must * Phlebotomy and EKG skills preferred * Able to handle incoming calls appropriately with pleasant phone manner. * Administering immunizations and other injections. * Point of care testing like UA, Glucose check, s...
