**Medical Assistant: Private Men's Health Practice** **The practice:** A private\-pay men's hormone replacement clinic. Two people run the whole thing: the doctor and you. **The role, honestly:** This is not a sit\-at\-the\-front\-desk job. You'll draw blood, run our in\-house lab, talk to patients on the phone and in person, handle billing, keep the schedule tight, and keep the clinic spotless. If something in this practice needs doing, it's yours. That's the deal, and it's why the job matters. **Clinical \& lab** * Draw blood (phlebotomy required, non\-negotiable), centrifuge samples, and run our in\-house lab analyzer * Prepare and administer IM and subcutaneous injections; document each one and dispose of sharps properly * Run daily QC controls and own the calibration and maintenance schedule; document everything * Enter results into the EMR, flag abnormal values, and alert the doctor with the abnormals called out * Prep IV setups before the doctor walks in; train new patients on self\-injection and safe needle disposal **Patient relationships** * Answer new\-patient inquiries about hormone replacement with confidence and warmth, and book the consult (light sales; training prov...
