**Director of Accounting** **Department:** Finance **Reports to:** VP, Finance **Hours:** Full\-time **Location:** Administrative Office (1201 S. Sharp St., Suite 302, Baltimore, MD 21230\) **Salary Range:** $75,000 – $100,000 **FLSA Status:** Exempt **POSITION SUMMARY** **OVERVIEW:** The Director of Accounting is the operational accounting leader for Boys \& Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore (BGCMB) and its related entities. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, this position owns the integrity of the general ledger, monthly close, balance\-sheet reconciliations, accounting schedules, and preparation of complete and accurate financial statements. The Director of Accounting converts financial activity into timely analysis that allows leadership to understand current performance, anticipate future results, and address budget challenges proactively. This is a hands\-on management role.
