**The Role: Temporary Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager (Contract, Leave Coverage)** Autobooks is looking for an experienced accounting professional to cover for our Assistant Controller during a planned leave from November 2026–April 2027, with possible extension depending on business needs. This position is hybrid, 40 hours per week, with 2–3 days in office in Downtown Detroit. You will keep the monthly close on schedule, oversee the core accounting functions, and support the finance team on ad hoc projects. Autobooks is a payment facilitator with multiple subsidiaries, so the work involves high transaction volumes, large datasets, and intercompany activity.
