**Overview** MARTAC is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join a multidisciplinary team developing next\-generation, high\-performance Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs). This is a hands\-on mechanical design role covering machinery integration, structures, fluid systems, and system\-level layout. The position is responsible for the design, modeling, and documentation of vessel mechanical systems, and for the manufacturability of the drawings and Bills of Material released to Production. Design cycles are short, so the position carries direct responsibility for supporting the build and incorporating test findings into subsequent revisions. This requisition is posted at two levels. Candidates are placed based on demonstrated experience and design ownership, not solely years of service: * **Mechanical Engineer I (0–2 years).** Owns components and subassemblies under regular design guidance, with drawings reviewed and approved by senior engineering. * **Mechanical Engineer II (2–5 years).** Owns defined subsystems from concept through production support, with independent responsibility for layout, component selection, and build documentation. **Responsibilities** * **Design and integrate me...
