**Position Title:** Cloud DevOps \& Governance Engineer **Location:** Remote (US\-based required; must reside/work within the United States) **Allocation:** 0\.5 FTE (Months 1–4\) / 0\.25 FTE (Month 5\) \| Total Hours: \~360 hours **Required Certification (Must possess at least ONE):** Google Cloud Certified \- Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer OR Google Cloud Certified \- Professional Cloud Security Engineer **Job Description:** * We are seeking a Cloud DevOps \& Governance Engineer to support the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Platform Refinement initiative for the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). This role is responsible for provisioning core data infrastructure via Terraform, establishing CI/CD deployment pipelines, configuring Cloud Monitoring and alert frameworks, and enforcing GCP security and Dataplex governance controls. * Key Responsibilities * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage all new GCP infrastructure (Cloud Composer, BigQuery, GCS landing zones, Pub/Sub, Dataplex, DLP) using Terraform stored in the client//'s GitHub repositories * CI/CD \& Automation: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD promotion patterns across DEV, TEST, and PROD environme...
