**Job Announcement: Civic Engagement Project** JOIN THE 2026 CNC Canvassing Team! **Communities for a New California (CNC)** is a 501(c)(4\) civil and human rights organization dedicated to advancing policies that are socially, economically, and environmentally just for California's families and communities. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as **door to door canvassers** in the **Fresno** area. Canvassers will engage directly with community members, provide voter education, and encourage voter participation and turnout for the **November 3, 2026 General Election**. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while gaining valuable experience in community organizing and civic engagement. DETAILS: **Project Start Date:** The civic engagement project is expected to begin on September 30th, 2026\. Work Schedule: * **Monday – Friday:** 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM * **Saturday:** Off (unless scheduled for joint canvassing events) * **Sunday:** Off * Canvassers should be available to work the weekend immediately preceding Election Day and occasional Saturdays as needed for special canvassing events.
