**PT Job Summary** The Physical therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long\-term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massaged and other forms of treatment. Under a physician’s orders, the therapist performs his or her duties within their scope of practice and federal guidelines **PT Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree **plus** five years of experience in Physical Therapy **or** Master’s/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy *(please note, no additional experience required with attainment of Master’s/Doctorate Degree*) * One year of clinical experience preferred. * Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state where applicable. **PT Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Reviews physicians’ referrals and patent’s conditions and medical records to determine in consultation with the physician, the appropriate physical therapy treatment(s) required. * Evaluates plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases related to...
