Our unit is comprised of 24 in\-patient beds. Our patient population includes admissions from the Ortho Joint, Spine, Fracture, and Ortho/Trauma centers, as well as medical/surgical patients. The nursing unit enjoys a supportive team environment including resources such as a unit\-based nurse educator, orthopedic navigator, respiratory therapy, PT/OT, nursing care partners, unit coordinators, charge nurse and manager. The unit has an active Unit\-Based Partnership Council and participates in many hospital\-wide Nurse led Councils.
