**Description** --------------- Vacancy is in the Custody of Funds Unit of the Treasurer’s Office. Under administrative direction of the City Treasurer, assists with the daily management of the Custody of Funds Unit. Assists with maintaining the Treasurer’s Office’s financial literacy program. Manages online payments for all City departments. Responsible for updating bank and general ledger reconciliations, notifications of insufficient funds (NSF), and chargebacks to all departments. Works with other departments to ensure proper accounting and resolution of outstanding items. Prepares Other Post Employment Benefits Trust (OPEB) agenda and necessary materials for the pension commission. Assists management with financial analysis and control for cash management desk. Escheats the City’s unclaimed funds to the State of Connecticut. Responsible for reading and evaluating project proposals.
