**Position Summary:** The Institute for Vision Research is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to provide direct management, configuration, and maintenance of multiple servers (mostly Linux, some Windows). Duties will include: installing and updating operating systems and packages on new and existing systems, regularly reviewing security scans, managing cryptographic certificates. **Key areas of responsibility:** * Analysis and design, implementation, documentation, support, and relationship management. * Identifies, installs and configures server hardware in institutional data centers * Refers unresolved support requests to Senior IT Personnel. * Ability to learn and apply new software applications. * Regularly evaluates security scans and applies necessary remediation * Troubleshoots server problems and helps deploy new systems * Manages data backup and archival * Assists with general IT issues as needed University of Iowa Health Care—recognized as one of the best hospitals in the United States—is Iowa's only comprehensive academic medical center and a regional referral center.
