**About the Role** We're looking for a Driver Safety \& Orientation Coordinator to help new drivers start strong and to keep safety a priority across our fleet. You'll run orientation, handle travel for new hires, and retrain drivers on safety issues. The right person knows logistics safety inside and out and likes working with drivers. **Responsibilities** * Plan and run orientation for new drivers, covering company policies, safety procedures and compliance requirements * Book and coordinate travel for incoming drivers, including flights, bus tickets, hotels and ground transportation * Retrain drivers after safety incidents, violations or performance issues * Give pre\-trip inspection exams when needed * Keep accurate records of orientation, training and retraining * Work with dispatch, recruiting and the safety department so new drivers are ready to roll on time * Help keep the company in line with DOT and FMCSA regulations **Qualifications** * Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation safety, including DOT/FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service * Experience in driver training, safety or fleet operations * Well organized, able to juggle travel plans and schedules for seve...
