**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Analyze general ledger accounts and individual transactions and provide appropriate feedback. * Assist with projects as requested. * Prepare schedules and statements for regulatory filings. * Prepare management reports which may include analysis of pledging, loan and deposit growth, and OREO. * Review and validate monthly financial statements (FAP). * Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures. **SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE** * Position normally requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent. * Strong accounting knowledge and ability to understand GAAP. * Basic familiarity with a variety of subjects, such as finance, economics, English, business law, marketing, statistics, information technology, etc. * Basic banking knowledge. * Over six months of experience. * Excellent communication skills. * Prior experience with Excel and Word software. * Excellent organizational skills. * Detail\-oriented. * Ability to meet deadlines. **SCOPE** **MEASUREMENTS** * Performance is measured by accuracy and ownership of work, including accurate and cross\-referenced wor...
