Compounds and dispenses medications pursuant to physician orders and prescriptions in compliance with state and federal laws and professional guidelines. Provides drug information to medical and hospital staff and education to patients and their family related to their drug therapy. Reviews Pyxis overrides to monitor appropriate activity. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
