**Senior Accounting Manager** **Location:** Gloversville, NY **Work Arrangement:** First 2 months fully onsite; then transitions to a hybrid schedule. **Position Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager** to manage client engagements across tax, audit, assurance, and advisory services. The role will oversee client relationships, mentor junior staff, and support financial and tax planning activities. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and various business entities. * Plan and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAP and GAAS. * Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules. * Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and advisory support. * Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, KPI reporting, and month/year\-end close. * Build and maintain strong client relationships. * Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff. * Stay current with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. * Assist with special projects and process improvements. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degre...
