Overview: **POSITION PURPOSE:** The Fiber Installation Technician is responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, and disconnecting cable services, including video, data, and telephone. This role performs hands on field work involving the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and coaxial cable systems and related equipment. In certain service areas, the technician will support dual platform environments requiring knowledge and use of both coaxial and fiber technologies. All work must be performed in accordance with established safety policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*** Install, splice, and terminate fiber\-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings. Ensure proper routing and organization of cables to meet industry standards. * Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to verify the functionality and performance of the installed fiber optic connections.
