We are seeking a highly\-skilled, experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We have expanded and are looking to fill two positions. We are rather busy and individual must be a worker to be happy in this position. There is not a lot of sitting around time. This position requires an individual that takes initiative and has time management skills that will help maintain a steady clinic flow for our provider. Candidate must be comfortable with calling patients with labs results and answering typical medical questions. We do lots of skin procedures and MA must be comfortable working hands on with the provider. Responsibilities: Below, we have provided a brief description of what the role entails. The complete job description will be discussed in detail during our interviewing process or doing a working interview. * Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA. * Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake. Must feel comfortable documenting chief complaint and vitals in an EMR system. * Check vitals, and giving injections, etc...
