Reports to: Controller **The Opportunity** This is an individual contributor role for an accountant who enjoys working through details, resolving discrepancies, and improving how work gets done. The successful candidate will bring sound accounting fundamentals, reliable follow\-through, and the ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently while collaborating closely with the team. The role offers broad exposure to accounting in a private equity\-backed software business, including NetSuite, software and services revenue, audit support, and acquisition integration. Initial priorities will be to add capacity to the close process, strengthen account reconciliations, and provide dependable coverage across key accounting activities. **Key responsibilities** General ledger and month\-end close * Prepare and record journal entries with clear supporting documentation, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, depreciation, amortization, and other assigned transactions. * Own assigned monthly, quarterly, and year\-end close tasks, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate outstanding items to the Controller early. * Maintain supporting schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets,...
